Bernadette holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language, Literature, and Linguistics from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad, and began her career as a secondary school teacher. With 15 years of experience at Smiths Gore, Bernadette is knowledgeable about the real estate market in the British Virgin Islands. Bernadette manages the properties and operations of high-net-worth clients and has a keen understanding of the luxury real estate market. With real estate practice steeped in exceptional service, strong ethical principles, and years of experience, she is trusted by clients who look to her for guidance through the buying or selling process.

As a business development manager, Sylvia is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and driving growth. She is also responsible for managing the residential team of agents, providing coaching and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
Previously, Sylvia has served within the public sector in various leadership capacities. She also has robust skills in management development in team building, international relations, change management among others.
