The design concept for this home was based on our client’s love for art and family. The art-splashed walls and beautifully appointed guest rooms make for an inviting getaway for friends and family.

The owners of this home, a couple who love to play golf on the Jack Nicholas-designed course at Las Campanas of Santa Fe, purchased the property with the intention of creating an inviting family get-away for their grown children (and hopefully soon, more grandchildren!). Unfortunately, the home was flooded shortly after the purchase, and the owners relied on Samuel Design Group principal Lisa Samuel advise, design, directly advocate and manage the project in their absence.

The refined details and new french oak floors are the perfect backdrop for this art-loving household. Lisa designed much of the furniture, incorporating some of the original architectural details into new furnishings. These special pieces include a headboard in the casita and a fabulous sofa table in the great room.

SDG enhanced the home’s functionality and beauty with a freshly designed kitchen featuring upgraded new appliances and contemporary lighting throughout.
